More Aid is an outreach of the St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Faith Community that provides financial assistance, a food pantry, and diaper assistance services to families in need. Ronald McDonald House
Supporting families since 1974.
After recognizing the need to support the whole family when a child is seriously ill or injured, our first Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia, PA, USA, in 1974. That was the beginning of our role as a unique charity dedicated to caring for families with children who are ill or injured. Our programs and services address the essential needs of families around the world - all along their child’s healthcare journey - so they can focus on the health and well-being of their child.

Miriam's House
We are dedicated to ending homelessness by rebuilding lives and empowering our community's most vulnerable.
Our homeless response programs are designed to ensure that homelessness is rare, brief, and nonrecurring in the Lynchburg community. Our housing programs are solutions-oriented, pairing stable housing with intensive wrap-around supportive services to help those experiencing homelessness get back on their feet.

The Bedford Pregnancy Center is a Christian organization that promotes, protects and defends the sanctity of all human life, both born and unborn, through the provision of alternatives to abortion, and services that empower mothers to choose life.

Southside Crisis Pregnancy Center
Serving Southside Virginia for over 40 years.
We provide compassionate care, objective information, and practical resources.
Our trained and caring staff listen to and support you. They will help you explore your options. With an unplanned pregnancy, many women experience a range of emotions and may feel overwhelmed by decisions they face. Don’t face them alone. We can meet one-on-one in the office at one of our five locations or virtually.

National Center for Healthy Veterans
Community is a primary antidote to isolation, loneliness, and broken relationships.
Residents will experience a renewed sense of community and camaraderie in the National Center for Healthy Veteran Villages and will form lasting bonds of friendship. Formerly homeless veterans will not only have a place to live, but also a place to thrive and contribute.
Valor Farm offers a transformative nine-month faith based residential program where Patriots live, learn, and grow in community. Structured trimesters focus on resilience, trauma recovery, and career readiness, while electives address personal needs and interests. Mentors help each Patriot create a Personal Development Plan, guiding their progress toward professional success, healthy relationships, and holistic wellness. Living in tiny homes within the Village, Patriots experience a culture of dignified work, inspirational faith, and supportive community that equips them to return to society strong, capable, and purpose-driven.

Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church

Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center
The Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center exists to comfort those facing unexpected pregnancies or in need of pregnancy support by providing free medical services, education, and practical help with a holistic and compassionate approach. While we do not provide or refer for abortion services, we answer questions about side effects, what to expect, and more.
Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in the state of Virginia. Community support ensures our ability to meet the needs of local women and men facing unexpected pregnancies. We are 100% funded through the generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations in our community. All donations are tax-deductible.
